Moms Demand Action will hold a community event on March 16, 7 pm at Framingham High School Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
Moms Demand Action Massachusetts Chapter Leader Kim Long will speak about the group’s initiatives in preventing gun violence in our schools and how we as a community can get involved in this effort.
State and local politicians and officials will then discuss ways in which initiatives are being enacted on a state, local, and school level to prevent gun violence. Scheduled speakers so far include state Rep. Jack Lewis, Framingham School Superintendent Robert Tremblay, and Framingham Chief of Police Kenneth Ferguson.
Due to limited seating and overwhelming interest, seats must be reserved via Eventbrite.
