Public Hearing Sept. 20 on Dunkin Donuts at Pinefield Shopping Center

The Framingham Planning Board will hold a public hearing Thursday, Sept. 20 on a proposed Dunkin Donuts at the Pinefield Shopping Center. The project would add a 1,785-square-foot building fronting Water Street, according to plans filed late last month with the Planning Board. The meeting is scheduled from 7 to 10 pm in Room 205 of the Memorial Building, 150 Concord St.

The proposal appears to be smaller than an earlier version that ran into community opposition. And, I did not see “Drive-Thru Facility Regulation” checked in this latest application, so the drive-through portion that was included in earlier plans may have been scrapped. We’ll know a lot more after the hearing.

In addition to a site plan review, the project needs special permits for use and off-street parking design, as well as a public way access permit.

The hearing has been posted on the Framingham Planning Board Facebook page.
