Friday, November 29 - Reduce Holiday Stress with Stretching and Meditation, 1 to 1:50 p.m., McAuliffe Library community room. Laila Vehvilainen will lead attendees through some yoga stretches to reduce holiday stress. You will also learn breathing and meditation techniques to calm and center yourself. For adults.

Meet and hear from Framingham City Councilors who will represent Nobscot: Christine Long, District 1; Cesar Stewart-Morales, District 2; and Adam Steiner, District 3. Saturday, December 7 - Framingham High School Holiday Marketplace, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Framingham High School (115 A St.). Dozens of vendors plus face painting, bake sale, raffle, and more. $4 admission goes toward supporting extracurricular arts, athletics, and other activities.
Saturday, December 7 -Gifts That Give Holiday Fair, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Edwards Church, 39 Edwards St., Saxonville. Purchase gifts that help make the world a better place, such as scarves to support A Place to Turn; a blanket for Church World Service; fair trade chocolate and coffee; and crafts from artists around the world. The fair runs from 1 to 4 p.m. in Edwards Hall, admission is free.
Sunday, December 8 - Holiday Sip and Shop, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Parlr, 1 Watson Place Suite 201 (Saxonville Mills). Shopping, pictures with Santa, bake sale, hot chocolate bar, and Toys for Tots donation area. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crafts vendors featuring holiday home decor, vintage finds, and handmade gifts. There will be treats and good cheer to enjoy. And the farm’s annual Tractor Lighting ceremony Saturday at 4 p.m.
Friday, December 6 - Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m., Memorial Building (City Hall), 150 Concord St. Santa and Mrs. Claus will light a 35-foot white spruce tree in front of City Hall in festivities that include Girl Scouts holiday music before the lighting and Framingham Public Library handing out popcorn. After the lighting, there will be cookies, hot chocolate, a Framingham Middle Schools Jazz Band concert, face painting from Keefe Tech, and visits and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Photos will be free and available for digital download.
Saturday, December 7 - Mass Ballet Nutcracker Preview, 1 to 2 p.m., Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company, 81 Morton Street. Enjoy a free preview of this year’s Nutcracker performance by Mass Ballet - and some Liquid Tender IPA with a Nutcracker theme.
