Framingham will have a free pop-up Covid-19 testing site from Wednesday, Aug. 5 through Friday, Aug. 14 at Keefe Technical High School (750 Winter St.).
Testing will be available Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2 to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon. Anyone is eligible, whether or not they have symptoms; no appointment is needed; and the cost is free, with no insurance required.
This will be a drive-through testing site only. Test results are expected in about 72 hours. Fallon Ambulance will be conducting the tests.
The move comes after Framingham officials and state legislators lobbied for Framingham to be added to places receiving state-sponsored testing sites.
