The Turkish restaurant across from Saxonville Mills is moving a few miles down Concord Street to a larger space next month.
Mediterranean Turkish Cuisine is relocating from 1609 Concord St. to 969 Concord St., site of the former Old Path Village that was destroyed in a 2017 fire. So, while the restaurant will no longer be in Saxonville village proper, it won’t be too far away.
The move was planned for this month but is now scheduled for early November.
In other neighborhood business news, Cindy Walsh’s Red Rover Clothing has moved from Framingham Centre to a loft studio at Saxonville Mills. She makes outerwear, accessories, and blankets from fleece and rainwear fabrics. Walsh said in an email that she has also started to make children’s items again. You can find Red Rover by going to the mill’s big back parking lot and entering between mill buildings 4 and 5.
The studio is open to the public for shopping Thursday to Saturday 11 am to 4 pm or by appointment.
