The Saxonville Burrito Company is now open! It’s in former Neko’s of New York spot, at the Elm/Central/Concord street intersection. Neko’s moved down Concord Street to the rebuilt Old Path Village shopping center; and owner Neko Salameh replaced it with this new spot after seeking feedback on what the neighborhood wanted.
The menu currently includes burritos, tacos, flatbreads, quesadillas, soups and salads, but additions are in the works. And the restaurateurs are interested in hearing feedback, so if there’s something you want to see added, let them know! I’m told we should consider this a “soft” opening for now, as the eatery is still getting up to speed and adding staff. So if you stop in, patience is in order as they settle on their systems for orders and such.
One thing likely to be added soon due to customer feedback: dessert.
The space is currently takeout only, since there wasn’t enough time to do all the necessary paperwork for sit-down dining. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday 11 am to 8 pm and Sunday noon to 8 p.m. (they’re closed Mondays).
