Not quite District 2 but pretty close: Hanson’s Farm on Nixon Road opened for the season today (May 8) and will be open 9 am to 5 pm daily. In addition to the usual locally grown produce, plants, and flowers at the farm stand, the farm’s Web site says: “We have recently acquired an ice cream food truck! Stop for delicious hard-scoop ice cream, sorbet, or frozen yogurt! Opening Day: Mother’s Day Weekend”
