Framingham Covid Rate Drops Again But Still Highest in Middlesex County

Framingham’s average daily rate of known new Covid-19 cases dropped to 5.5 per 100,000 population over 14 days, according to data released today by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. However, that’s still the highest in Middlesex County and 13-highest in the state. Ashland was next highest in Middlesex at 5.1 followed by Shirley at 4.2. Natick and Waltham were both at 1.

Framingham’s test positivity was 1.59% vs the state-wide average of 0.63%.

Number of tests administered continued to drop, now down to 4,857 vs 5,354 in the prior 14-day period.

69.5% of the city’s total population have received one dose of Covid vaccine. 58.2% are fully vaccinated.
