The Brazilian bakery taking over the former Subway restaurant on Concord Street in Saxonville now expects to open before Christmas, the owners’ daughter told me via text this week.
Bakery owners had originally planned to open over the summer, but unexpected changes delayed the opening.
Although named “Brazilian Family Bakery,” the shop’s plan is to carry both Brazilian and traditional American baked goods including fresh bread, bagels, muffins and rolls.
