Free Outdoor Jazz Concert Thursday Sept. 8, 7 to 8 pm, behind the McAuliffe Library (746 Water St.) - last of this year’s summer series featuring Sordillo, Krohne & Baboian.

11th Annual Framingham Vegetable Garden Tour Saturday, Sept. 10, 1 pm to 5 pm. Get inspiration, ideas, and advicefrom this tour of home and community gardens sponsored by Transition Framingham and Framingham Public Library. Meet at Open Spirit’s gardens in Saxonville, 39 Edwards Street. Pre-registration and $10 donation encouraged but not required. Artisan Vendors, Food Vendors, and Family Fun Outdoor Movie Night Saturday, Sept. 10 outside in the Saxonville Mills courtyard. Artisan vendors 5 to 7 pm, food vendors 5 to 9 pm, outdoor movie “The Greatest Showman” 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Grass is limited; if you’re staying for the movie, you’ll probably want to bring a chair or blanket. Park in the lot at the end of Watson Place.

Bridges of Saxonville, Thursday, Sept. 15, 7 pm, Framingham History Center event on Zoom, featuring Brett Peruzzi and Steven Weisman to look at all the bridges, old and new, in and around the historic village of Saxonville. Framingham Farmers Market continues on Thursdays, 3 to 7 pm at the Framingham Center Common / Village Green between Vernon Street and Edgell Road (north of Rte 9 across from Framingham State). Parking is available at the Village Hall lots (Oak Street), behind the Danforth Museum after 4:30, and in the NorthEast Community Bank lot – look for “Framingham Farmers Market PARKING” signs – as well as some on-street parking.

15th Annual MetroWest Humane Society Craft Fair, Saturday, Sept. 17, 10 am to 4 pm, Framingham Center Common / Village Green. With vendors selling jewelry, photography, hone decor, pottery, clothing, and more.

Framingham History Center Tag Sale, Saturday, Sept. 24, 9 am to 3 pm, inside and outside Village Hall at the Framingham Center common / Village Green, 2 Oak St. (Items for sale have been donated and are not part of the Framingham History Center Collection).

Note: First Parish Church is no longer planning to host its annual Pies on the Common fair, according to its website.

200th Anniversary of Brazilian Independence Celebration, Tuesday, Sept. 6, 5 pm Main Library, 49 Lexington St., featuring Brazil’s consul general in Boston, a performance by the Choro Trio, and kid-friendly activities. Exhibit ‘A’ 6th Anniversary Party, Saturday, Sept. 10, 2 to 10 pm with live music and special beer releases. Dogs are welcome outside in the beer garden (but not inside in the tap room).

Sunday Jazz: Russo Brothers Quintet, Sunday, Sept. 11, 1 to 3 p.m., Exhibit ‘A’. The quintet is a Worcester Music Awards winner for best jazz.

Downtown Framingham’s Oktoberfest event will be Saturday, Oct. 8, 1 to 5 p.
